User Name and Password
Your user name is the same user name as your Pathway login. If you do not know what your user name is, click here to find it. You will need to provide your Student ID.
Your password is the same as your Online Services pin or your initial Pathway password. If you recently updated your Online Services pin, it may take up to 3 hours for that change to show up in Blackboard. If you continue to have technical difficulties logging in, please contact the IT Help Desk at 575-769-4004 during normal business hours, Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Spring 2012 Classes
Spring 2012 classes for the second eight weeks will appear on March 19th, 2012, the morning that classes begin.
If you are enrolled for an online course, you can log into the Online Orientation course to become familiar with the Blackboard online learning system.

Problems with Version 9 of Internet Explorer
Even though IE 9 is not officially supported, we have had students use it successfully with Blackboard by using "Compatibility View." Follow these steps to configure IE 9 to use Compatibility View for Blackboard.com.
Problems with Lastest Versions of Firefox
Even though the latest versions of Firefox are not supported by Blackboard, we have had students use it with limited success. If you are using a version of Firefox later than the supported version of Firefox 3.6.x, you will not be able to use the HTML editor. Also, if you have a class that uses the Chat tool, you will need to either upgrade to the latest version of Java or install the supported version of Firefox 3.6.x If neither of those approaches work for you, we recommend that you use Version 9 of Internet Explorer in "Compatibility View."
Scheduled Maintenance
Blackboard has regularly scheduled maintenance every Friday, from 12:01am to 4:00am. Please refrain from logging into the system during the scheduled maintenance period as there may be service interruptions during this time.

Before logging in, it is highly recommended that you perform a browser check to see if your computer is properly configured to use the Blackboard Learning System.

Pop-up Blockers
The Blackboard Learning System sometimes uses small browser windows to deliver requested content. Some pop-up blockers incorrectly interpret these small windows as pop-ups and block them. If you have installed a pop-up blocker, turn it off while using the Learning System.
Java Security Certificate
After logging in to the Blackboard Learning System, you will be prompted to accept a Java Security Certificate. You must click Yes or Always to ensure that Learning System functionality using Java will work properly in your browser.
